Hello there!  With two dogs and a six year old I am always cleaning up and trying to freshen up the house, especially the living room.  I am all about making my home smell good.  Today, I am sharing how you can make your own Ylang Ylang and Orange Room Spray that can be used on most surfaces.  This room spray smells amazing and is a nice aromatherapy blend.  I made a free printable label for you to use if you are giving this away as a gift.

If you are a DIY’er like me, then you totally get my love for making homemade health and beauty products.  In the long run this homemade products is cheaper and much better for you because you know all of the ingredients used in the making.  Lately, I have been enjoying playing around with different essential oil blends and I think you are really going to like this Ylang Ylang and Orange Room Spray.

This DIY Room Spray uses just 4 ingredients (affiliate links):

• Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
• Orange Essential Oil
• Witch Hazel
• Distilled Water

Ylang Ylang oil has a floral scent and is great for killing bacteria.  Sweet Orange Oil has cheerfulness properties while it simultaneously calms, making it ideal as an overall mood enhancer and relaxant.  Witch Hazel helps to keep the water in the spray bottle purified and should last about one month.  Together this blend of essential oils smells great as a room spray.

The only other material needed is a mist spray bottle.  I really like this glass mister because it is the perfect size to hold the room spray mixture and is easy to spray.

 

I made a pretty label that you can use for yourself or if you are giving this to someone as a gift.  I hope you enjoy the smell of this Ylang Ylang and Orange Room Spray as much as I do!
