Workout This Fall | The Casual Craftlete

I’m excited to announce a new feature here on The Casual Craftlete!  For those that have read my Before & After:  Losing the pregnancy weight, know that I just started running last year.  Since then I have lost 70 pounds and would like to continue to lose a few more pounds.  It seems I have been stuck in a plateau for a few  months now and need an extra push.  This November I will start training for my very first half marathon.  I need to stay on track and up my mileage.

What I am hoping to do is encourage each of you on your own journeys.  I want to see each of your reach your goals and not let things like Halloween candy, Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas parties stop you.  So along with my friend Tara from Mommy Head Adventures, a new weekly challenge link up is born. This fall we will be hosting a link up each Wednesday that will allow you to come chime in on what you are doing well and what you are struggling with.

We will be sharing with you our goals and struggles as well as giving you a link up to share your posts with us. And who knows, there may be some prizes to win along the way! Here are the basic “rules” if you will:

  • Commit to work out 3-4 times a week
  • Make your work outs 30 minutes or more in length
  • Check out some other places and give encouragement and support

You can share your progress with us through your blog, Instagram and/or Twitter.  Use the hashtag #workoutthisfall so we can find each other easily.  Be sure to follow Tara on her Instagram and Twitter and Me on my Instagram and Twitter as well! This will be fun!  Get ready to start and we will see you the first week in October @ 8pm Central.
