Hello there! It’s December 1st so I thought it was fitting to share a beautiful and easy gift wrap idea that you can make this year. This Metallic and Decoupage Gift Wrap is made with metallic paints and decoupage papers. This gift wrap has such fun colors and patterns and can be customized to any person. Add some fun embellishments for a pretty package!

Americana Decou-Page Paper – Sliver Basics
Americana Decou-Page Matte – 2oz
Dazzling Metallics – Berry – 2oz
Dazzling Metallic – Teal – 2oz
Gift Boxes
Foam Paint Brushes
Scissors
Embellishments

Instructions:

I started by painting plain white gift boxes that I bought at Wal-Mart with the Dazzling Metallics acrylic paints. I applied two coats until the white boxes were fully covered. I love the Teal and Berry colors and the Dazzling Metallics are so shiny and vibrant.

Next, I cut a piece of the Decou-Page Paper that will fit over the center of the gift box. I used a foam paint brush to apply a thin coat of Decou-Page to the box. Gently lay the piece of paper over the Decou-Page and use you fingers to smooth the paper. Apply a second thin coat of Decou-Page over the paper and let dry. The Sliver Basics paper includes stars, dots, and triangle patterns.

The fun part is adding some embellishments. You can get as creative as you like and can customize it for the special person you are giving the gift to. The wood letter came from Wal-Mart.
