This is what our bedroom looks like currently:

There is a hand-me-down bed, two mismatched nightstands, a tv and a buffet we are using as a dresser. The only item in the room I want to keep is the dresser. It was a birthday present from my husband this year.

Here Are The 2 Design Plans For A Blissful Bedroom

After taking the Modsy quiz, I was given the design style, Mod Visionary. This style is timeless – current but not trendy, retro but not old-fashioned. It pairs beautifully with just about every other style. I love how cozy, classic, and modern these designs are. It’s like they read my mind and knew exactly what I wanted.

Design 1:

As much as I love design 1, it is a bit too modern for us. I do like the artwork, mirror above the bed, pillows, and chair. The light fixture and stools are not my favorite choice, so I decided to go with design 2 because I love everything in that design plan.

Design 2:

What I like about the design:

Bed frame – the only thing I requested for the design is a tufted headboard. It’s super lush and classy.
Fun artwork – I have a difficult time picking framed prints and I love the bold designs they chose.
End tables and lamps – I love the wood tables with the texture of the dark lamps. And they match!
Seating – there are two options for seating. The chair in the corner and the bench at the end of the bed. We have never had any place to sit other than the bed.
Accessories – from the hanging plant, coffee tray, pillows, books and candles, this is the most peaceful space.

These 3D renderings are so realistic. I can’t believe the details and quality of the photos. It is so worth letting Modsy assist in designing your room.

We are planning on making over the bedroom in the spring. That will give us some time to save up money to buy the furniture we need to fill this space.
