Hello there! Today, I am sharing how you can create a DIY Wooden Metallic Paint Stand Centerpiece using simple and inexpensive materials. These stands are perfect for weddings, showers, parties, and more. My sister-in-law is getting married in a few months and I made these stands for her bridal shower. She can use them to display flowers, candles, table numbers, even a small cake. The metallic paint adds a pretty shine and touch of elegance to the raw wood.

- Round Wood Plaques – I bought mine at Hobby Lobby (similar here)
- Wood Candlesticks – I bought mine at Michaels (similar here)

Instructions:
I started by applying one coat of the raw wood plaques and candlesticks using Dazzling Metallics Paint in the color Sliver Sage. Once the first coat was completely dry, I applied a second coat covering all sides of the raw wood materials. My sister-in-law’s wedding colors are white and green. Her and I both really love the Sliver Sage because it is a very muted color. The paint has a shimmer to it making it elegant for a wedding and bridal shower.
Once the second coat of paint was dry, I applied wood glue to the bottom of the wood plaque and the top of the candlestick. Place the candlestick upside down onto the bottom of the plaque. Add weight like some books on the candlestick and let dry. I used a couple of different sizes and shapes of plaques and candlestick for height differences and balance.
While the DIY Wooden Metallic Paint Stand Centerpiece was drying, I painted a small wood pot using Dazzling Metallics Paint in the color Champagne Gold. I applied two coats of paint just like the stand. Raw wood soaks up paint and you almost always have to apply at least two coats of paint.
I placed a piece of styrofoam in the painted pot and stuck the stem of an artificial hydrangea inside to create a small floral arrangement.
