How To Build The Perfect Cheese Board

Cook· Side Dish

How to build the perfect cheese board from www.thecasualcraftlete.comHey there!  Today I am excited to share with you a simple fall entertaining idea, How To Build The Perfect Cheese Board!  Party season is right around the corner and I wanted to give you a few easy ideas to throw together a simple cheese board that will please the crowds.  As a mom, I like to keep things simple and low key when it comes to having guests over.  Elaborate dinners are nice, but sometimes I like to put together a beautiful cheese board for guest to munch on while you have good conversation.

Of course, you can add whatever you like to a cheese board.  I think it must have the following three:

1.  Cheeses

How to pick cheese for a cheese board by www.thecasualcraftlete.com You must have great cheese on your cheese board.  I think pairing three perfect cheeses is all you need.  A strong cheese, like blue cheese.  A sharp hard cheese, like cheddar and a soft creamy cheese, like brie.  These are the holy trinity of cheeses.  They are fairly inexpensive, if you buy small quantities.  Adding different textures and flavors is the key to the perfect cheese board.

2.  Crackers and Bread

3.  Fruits and Nuts
