Hello there!  Okay, I am soo excited for fall!  It is my favorite season and I love everything about it.  Today, I am sharing how you can make these Fall Harvest Subway Art Treat Bags.  Subway art isn’t just for decorating your home, you can use it for embellishing kraft paper bags.  These DIY bags are great for fall parties at school, home, or church.  Just fill with your favorite candy and you have such a cute fall treat.

I found this fall subway art in Silhouette Design Store.  This is design ID #93101 and can be purchased for $1.49.  I sized the image to 4 inches by 4 inches to fit on the kraft bags.  I printed this image at my local Staples store.  My printer does not print good quality and I have been using Staples for my printables for awhile now and I am happy with the results.  I asked for the image to be printed on glossy photo paper because I think images look best on that kind of paper.

I used a paper cutter to cut around the subway art or you could use a pair of scissors.  OR if you are savvy with the Silhouette Cameo, you could set it up to cut the printable that way.  I think it is just easier and faster to cut it by hand.

I adhered a piece of orange cardstock to the back of the printable using an adhesive tape runner.  Then, I put some candy inside the bag and wrapped the baker’s twine around the bag.  Finally, I adhered the fall harvest subway art to the kraft bag using the tape.

These easy DIY Fall Harvest Subway Art Treat Bags are great for handing out at parties, school, church, and more.  I made this bag for my daughter’s kindergarten teacher and she loved the thoughtful gift but I think she liked the chocolate even more.
