Reese’s Puffs Treats – easy no bake peanut and chocolate marshmallow cereal squares that are gooey, crunchy, and yummy!
Hello there! I just love peanut and chocolate together. In my opinion there is no better combination of flavors, so it’s no surprise that Reese’s is my favorite candy. Today I am sharing a sweet snack using cereal. These Reese’s Puffs Treats are so incredibly good. Just think of these delicious squares like rice krispie treats only with chocolate and butter and more awesome. These easy no bake treats go best when eaten with a glass of milk and kids and adults both love them!
If you have never tried Reese’s Puffs cereal, I highly recommend it. Especially if you love Reese’s peanut butter cups. The puff cereal has the same peanut butter and chocolate flavor. To make the Reese’s Puffs Treats, you start by melting 6 tablespoons of butter in a large pot on the stove. Once the butter has completely melted, add 1 – 10 ounce bag of mini marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows are completely melted. Then add 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter and stir until melted. The peanut butter just gives the treats that extra peanut butter flavor. Once those three ingredients are melted and creamy, add 7 cups of Reese’s Puffs cereal and stir until well combined. Pour the cereal mixture into a 9 x 13 baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper and sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Use a rubber spatula to press the mixture into the pan firmly.
Since we added extra peanut butter to the treats, let’s add more chocolate. I melt microwave baker’s chocolate on high for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave another 30 seconds until all the chocolate is melted and pourable. Use a spoon to drizzle melted chocolate all over the Reese’s Puffs Treats. Let treats cool and set until firm. Use a serrated knife to cut into squares.
