Freshly Squeezed Peach Lemonade

Beverages· Cook

Peach Lemonade by www.thecasualcraftlete.com

Are you tired of peach recipes yet?  I hope not because I have just one last peach recipe for this summer season and it might be the best one yet!  You guys, this Peach Lemonade is amazing!  It’s made with fresh peaches and lemons and tends to be on the tart side, which I think lemonade should be anyway.  Plus, it is beautiful.  Just look at that vibrant orange color with flecks of red.  When you see that you know it’s made with fresh ingredients.

Peach Lemonade from www.thecasualcraftlete.com

This recipe is really simple;  it’s just 4 ingredients, fresh peaches, lemons, sugar and water.  First, you start by adding 2/3 cup of granulated sugar into a large drinking pitcher.  Add 1 cup of hot water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.  Next, juice 1 cup of fresh lemons which is approximately 5 lemons.  Add your lemon juice to the pitcher.  I don’t have a juicer so, I used an old fashion hand one.  It worked fine for the lemons.  For the peaches, I used about 8 and muddled them into a large glass jar then strained the peaches to get 1 cup of juice.  Add the peach juice to the pitcher and stir until all the ingredients are combined.  Then, fill the pitcher with cold water to the top.  Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill or serve over ice.

This peach lemonade is delicious!  You get some sweetness from the peaches and sugar and total tartness from the lemons.  You if don’t like it tart, you can always add more sugar.
